1. Foundation modules designer training workshop

The Ministry of Education commissioned National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) SDIME to conduct the “Mathematics Foundation Modules Designer Training Workshop”. This course is designed to give students who are not well-prepared for mathematics a concrete experience of the commonality or immutability of mathematical foundation modules.

Content

Objective: To develop the ability to design foundations in the classroom modules and to submit one module each at the end of the course.

2. Foundations in the classroom modules designer training workshop

The Ministry of Education commissioned National Taiwan Normal University SDIME to conduct the “Mathematics Foundations in the Classroom Designer Training Workshop”. The training contents focuses on the important concepts of mathematics for grades 3, 4, 5, and 6 in elementary schools as well as grades 1, 2, and 3 in junior high schools, which require operational experience to develop the mathematical concepts. The modules are designed to be taught directly in the classroom, bringing the foundation into the classroom for the direct benefit of teachers and students nationwide.
